  • Donations are used specifically for funding site hosting which is approximately $350 a month which is up from our $150 last year.
  • The Peace Corps Wiki is on a "private server" meaning that it receives optimal bandwidth and will never cause an error (September 2009)
  • In September 2009 the wiki was removed from a "shared server" because of the very often other sites with high traffic cause the wiki to "error."
  • Donations will be used to fund "a private server" where the wiki will be allocated plenty of speed and processing power.
  • $1000 TOTAL is needed by the end of September 2009 to cover the costs of:
    • Moving the wiki to a private server ($500)
    • Reserving it's space for the coming year September 2009 - September 2010 ($500)
