As a former Volunteer, you know about many of the benefits of serving in the Peace Corps. Leadership skills, experience in a new language, cross-cultural understanding, and a greater sense of perspective are just a few of the things you are likely to have gained. But did you know that there are other, more tangible, benefits available to you as a result of your Peace Corps service?

Health Benefits
The Post-Service Health Benefits Guide offers guidance on insurance and medical care after service.

Federal employees may be eligible to receive credit towards retirement for their Peace Corps Volunteer service.
