David served from 1996-1998 as a teacher trainer in the English Language Assistance program in the Philippines. He was part of training group 248 and served in Nueva Ecija's Provincial Office of DECS headquartered in Cabanatuan City. Besides conducting in-service workshops for teachers, he founded a provincial English Language Acquisition library and organized a technology learning seminar for rural teachers at one of the first Internet Cafes in Cabanatuan City. ==
Upon completion of service, David visited Thailand, where he was offered a position as a school head in Phuket. However, he decided to return to Wisconsin to teach college-level English and teacher education courses and pursue further graduate studies.
Today, David Glaub is a Senior Lecturer.
