I met my future husband George Neavoll, a fellow PCV, while in Pet. Bashirabad. He would cycle from his nearby village of Medchal, and we sometimes would cycle together into Secunderabad, the nearest large city. I worked as a Peace Corps recruiter in the Atlanta Regional Office after returning to the United States. My duties included visiting college campuses throughout the Southeast and in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
