Info about the Community Park Renovation
Just as a community is reliant on sound roads and transportation, it is also reliant on a meeting place where members can gather and converse. Parks often serve as the main focal points of communities, reflecting the pride of the local people. A community in Panama has a dedicated interest in bringing its members together to work collaboratively and productively toward the attainable goal of a renovated community park.
Leaders of the community are currently working with a Peace Corps volunteer to undertake this renovation. The renovation will allow community members accessibility, mobility, and will engage participants in community planning. The project will improve upon the existing infrastructure of the park for the benefit of adults and youth alike, permitting community members to take full advantage of the five acre park.
The community park renovation will include new sidewalks, paint and lighting. The town government and community members will help in the planning, design and construction of the project, and their time and labor will show their commitment to a renovated park.
